01 — Our Craft
The slow art of a good garden.
We're a small studio of designers, horticulturists and stoneworkers based in old Markham village. We don't subcontract, we don't chase volume, and we plant for the climate we actually have — not the one in the catalogue.
Design
Site walks, hand-drawn plans, planting palettes built around your light, soil and use.
Build
Interlock, dry-stone, raised beds and irrigation. Done by the same crew, every time.
Tend
Weekly maintenance and seasonal cleanups so the work keeps looking like the day we left.

Hired them for a full interlock patio and a rebuild of two retaining walls. Drainage actually drains. They explained every choice and never tried to upsell. Quietly professional.

Took a little longer than estimated due to weather, but the finished garden bed and stone edging are beautiful. They came back twice to tweak plant placement until we were happy.
